Today had Client Interview Assesment with Mr Ferlin Jayatissa with the accompany of the assessor Ms Sylvia Lim..

The interview turned out to be "quite ok" in the sense tt this REAL interview is much much better than the ones we had when we were practicing with him..its a relief though..HAHAHA..

He turned out to be very very very nice to us larh..and i can say that he is damn funny..lols..

oh ya, do u all still remember the post tt i said about xingyi kana HOLLERED at by our Dear Mr "MICRO"?..He promised us tt he will bring chocolates for us to clear his debt and guiltness for scolding us and xingyi???..

HE REALLY bought M&M chocolates for us larh..omg..so much for being so NICE to us can..lols..

I came across this question when doing criminal law tutorial 6....when im suppose to do the one before it,,SO MUCH SO FOR BEING HARDWORKING LAR..

Anyway, come back to this question i was talking about..the topic is about "SEXUAL OFFENCES"..

The Question is.............

Would it be an offence for a man to have sexual intercourse with a girl below the age of 14 or 16 with her consent?

the answer is yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!..

WHY LEH?!?!?!?!!..

COS....firstly...

Assault or use of criminal force to a person with intent to outrage modesty.

354. Whoever assaults or uses criminal force to any person, intending to outrage or knowing it to be likely that he will thereby outrage the modesty of that person, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 2 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any two of such punishments.

Rape.

375. A man is said to commit “rape” who, except in the case hereinafter excepted, has sexual intercourse with a woman under circumstances falling under any of the 5 following descriptions:

(a) against her will;

(b) without her consent;

(c) with her consent, when her consent has been obtained by putting her in fear of death or hurt;

(d) with her consent, when the man knows that he is not her husband, and her consent is given because she believes that he is another man to whom she is or believes herself to be lawfully married or to whom she would consent;

(e) with or without her consent, when she is under 14 years of age.

Explanation.
Penetration is sufficient to constitute the sexual intercourse necessary to the offence of rape.

Exception.
Sexual intercourse by a man with his own wife, the wife not being under 13 years of age, is not rape.

SUPPORTED with WOMEN`S charter Section 143

Permitting girl below the age of 16 to use premises for intercourse 143.

Any person who is the owner or occupier of any premises, or who has, or acts or assists in, the management or control of any premises, induces or knowingly permits a girl below the age of 16 years to resort to or be on those premises for the purpose of having sexual intercourse except by way of marriage with any male person shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or to both.

I find this qn very very interesting, cos i think some of the guys out there dont know about this,so take a look and know where you stand..hahaha..pls dont make any mistake on this..

dont think tt with a girl`s consent you can take her on..BULLSHIT..haha..
