Good Afternoon ladies and gentlemen,

Standared Chartered 2008 had passed, and I really do enjoy myself pouring thousand and thousand cups of 100 plus for 5 to 6 hours.

Not to mention the most disgusting part of the event, ie. imagine yourself with concentrated and "not-so-concentrated" 100plus over your whole body including your hair, shoes, socks, face, hands, legs, shirt and PANTS.

Few drops of it is ok, but the problem lies with the amount of 100 plus on your body, a compound of mud, sweat and 100 plus mind you..

After a few trips of getting the diluted 100 plus from the tank, my whole shoe is filled with a mixture of mud, grass and 100 plus. But who really cares about it when you have hundreds, thousands of desperate runners eyeing on the "COLD and REFRESHING 100 PLUS" under the hot sun??

Our job is to keep them hydrated with isotonic drink, its fun despite the matter that everyone perspires after the "strenuous exercise". We "pourers" don`t even get the chance to tilt our head up to see the runner`s face after they said a simple word of "THANK YOU" to you because we kept pouring and pouring for the next runner.

But a simple word of gratitude, "thank you" really made our day although it sounds cliche on every normal days.

I must emphasize that Singaporeans do know how to say thank you despite the fact that people outside kept saying singaporeans are impolite.

The moment when runners comes to you and take a cup of 100 plus on the table and say "thank you", I have the urge to smile back at them and say "you are most most most most most most most welcome" but I dont get the chance to do that.

But the moment came after I concede defeat and apparently when we got the chance to rest, the image appeared infront of me is a total disaster. Accumulated destroyed cups appears as debris after a few hours had passed, let the picture tell you the story..

Anyways, we made new friends in this event, including aunties!!..I swear they are the best, they are not only funny, but willing to give the young ones a hand when we are in trouble.

They are not old and weak, they are sporty and kind!=) I do learn quite a lot from them. Their expression can really make all of us laugh, I think they are malaysian, cos they have the accent when they speak, but that contributes to the laughter. HAHAHA=D

Let me introduce to you 4 kind souls.....

On the left is Alvin, our assistant leader in this event, see the smirk on islin`s face when she gets the chance to take a photo with him.

On the right side is Hai Boon, he`s the one that got internal bleeding when trying to give me the clue of guessing game. Again, islin is in the picture..HAHAHA!

On the left is Fiona!!!..She`s the leader in this event, she`s the one who started with the guessing game and as a result hai boon got internal bleeding.=)

Character no. 4!..Tiong Jun!, in my own honest opinion, he always get bully by the the guy on his right..hahaha..=)
